ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4)— Storm recovery has been a priority along the city’s Delmar corridor, where many businesses and homes along the historically disinvested boulevard were impacted by May’s tornado.

With Small Business Saturday approaching this weekend, the event could play a role in continuing momentum for area businesses still building back after the storm.

Despite damage to the neighborhood and her building, Je’Loni Hall has been building up a customer base at the She Nail and Beauty Bar near the Delmar Divine.

“We’ve had a lot of struggles, but outside of that adversity its been amazing,” Hall said.

Hall is one of the vendors this weekend at the Delmar Main Streets Small Business Saturday event.
