An Elkton teenager and a Perryville man are facing drug charges following investigations conducted by Maryland State Police.
Troopers investigated sales and distribution of fentanyl in Cecil County during October and November. The 17-year-old boy was arrested while getting into his vehicle at home. Police said he was in possession of 16 bundles of fentanyl, and a search of his home turned up another 56 bundles. The total amount of fentanyl seized was 257.7-grams. The bags were blue wax paper and stamped with the log0 "UHAUL."
Also, Maryland State Police said a drug investigation conducted over the summer led to the arrest of 48-year-old Dwight Alexander. He was arrested on Pulaski Highway in Elkton. Police said Alexander was in possession of suspected cocaine, a digital scale, drug packa
