AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - El Paso Tacos and Tequila provided free meals to community members Tuesday night.

For four hours, the Augusta restaurant served as a place where people did not have to worry about the cost of a hot meal.

Manager Yisel Garcia said the restaurant wanted to help people in the community.

Josey alumni keep a tradition alive, feeding folks for Thanksgiving

For decades now, the Josey High School Class of 1994 has been feeding the community for Thanksgiving.

“We want them to feel like there’s someone who can help them out in a certain way,” Garcia said. “I know those people that have come here, they’re alone, they’re walking the streets all day, so we want them to have something.”
