A 56-year-old Massachusetts man was arrested and charged in connection with a “disturbing” scarecrow display in Concord.
On Sept. 22, Concord Police said they responded to the area of Monument Square for a report of a sign directed toward the Superintendent of the Concord and Concord-Carlisle Regional school districts.
Over the next several weeks, Concord Police responded to and investigated multiple reports of signs that were placed around town directed at the superintendent.
The signs were part of scarecrows that displayed messages such as “Fire liar hunter,” “Muskets for musk?” “The hatch for hunter!” and “Hate, waste, bullying, higher taxes,” according to WCVB .
