PHOENIX (AZFamily) — Dozens of volunteers spent time doing Something Good for foster children in the Phoenix area.
About 50 volunteers with Phoenix-based nonprofit Arizona Friends of Foster Children Foundation and the Ladies of Trilogy Verde River chapter wrapped 136 toys and assembled 120 hygiene totes for Valley foster children.
Each gift included a special note with messages of encouragement from volunteers. The groups also donated more than 100 gift cards.
Next week, the Arizona Friends of Foster Children Foundation will distribute the gifts and totes to help make the holidays brighter for Valley foster children and teens.
