A mum in Helensburgh has shared that she was 'horrified' at seeing a deepfake AI video of her late daughter telling the story of her killing.

Jacqueline Gallacher told STV News that she was 'disgusted' to see a TikTok account using her daughter, Charmaine O’Donnell's image. The user had made an AI-generated video that showed Charmaine talking about being pushed to her death off Helensburgh Pier by Jacob Foster.

The same TikTok account has used the images of dozens of murdered women across the country in similar videos.
