CLERMONT COUNTY, Ohio (WXIX) - A Goshen woman is indicted on child endangering, felonious assault and tampering with evidence charges after an infant she was babysitting ended up in the emergency room with severe injuries.
According to Clermont County Prosecutor Mark Tekulve, 37-year-old Amanda Greger was under the influence of drugs and alcohol the night before the child was hospitalized.
On Nov. 9, Greger was babysitting her friend’s four children , plus two of her own.
Tekulve says she is typically the sole caretaker of the kids since she and the mother are “lifelong friends.”
Later in the night, the suspect began drinking vodka, in addition to taking THC and unprescribed muscle relaxers, prosecutors said.
Tekulve says Greger admitted to being intoxicated while babysitting.
