LEWISBURG — Before they brewed their first beer at Jackass Brewing Company, Larry Winans fixed teeth and Skip Kratzer graded papers.

The owners of two locations in Lewisburg and Williamsport never expected to be where they are now, but they said there were moments that, in hindsight, made sense for both of them.
