MIFFLINBURG — All charges filed against a Millmont woman accused of stealing $50,000 from the Mifflinburg American Legion will move forward to the Union County Court of Common Pleas.
Following a preliminary hearing Tuesday, Mifflinburg District Judge Jeffrey Mensch determined that the charges filed against Pamela Hackenburg, 56, of Weikert Road, Millmont, are bound for court. She is scheduled for a formal arraignment at 8:30 a.m. Feb. 2 in front of Union County Judge Michael Piecuch.
Hackenburg used her position as the volunteer treasurer and bookkeeper for the Mifflinburg American Legion Post 410, to take money on 42 occasions, totaling $50,096, over 11 months between 2023 and 2024.
