INDUSTRY CITY — Now more than ever, small businesses need support. The Small Business Administration (SBA) and organizations across the country celebrate small businesses on Nov. 29, also known as Small Business Saturday.

In Brooklyn, NYC Public Advocate Jumaane Williams is looking to empower small business owners — specifically those that are minority and women-owned (MWBEs) — with the recent release of a new report, “Diverse Entrepreneurial Inclusion.”

On the morning of Nov. 25, days before Black Friday and Small Business Saturday, Williams spoke to an intimate crowd inside the offices of the Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce about the report.
