After dropping its first game of the trials to fellow Calgarian Kevin Koe, Team Jacobs roared back to collect five straight victories
Brad Jacobs is one step closer to a return visit to the Olympics.
The 2014 Games gold medallist and his crew from Calgary have scored a spot in the championship final of the 2025 Montana’s Canadian Curling Trials, thanks to a key victory early Wednesday in Halifax.
The decorated skip and his squad sunk Winnipeg’s Matt Dunstone — a fellow co-favourite at the Olympic qualifier — in a 6-2 contest to clinch first place in the men’s pool of the nine-day event.
The morning win in Draw 12 caps a solid recent run by the Glencoe Curling Club side — comprised of skip Jacobs, third/vice-skip Marc Kennedy, second Brett Gallant and lead Ben Hebert.
