BOSTON —
A Massachusetts nonprofit is providing Thanksgiving meals for thousands of children and parents working to regain stability.
"For us, it's been inspiring, and it's been something we've been able to make a tradition each year," volunteer Christian Tosi said.
Christian Tosi and his daughter are among 100 volunteers who helped Wednesday on behalf of FamilyAid , which is helping to get food on the table for families in need.
"It's awesome seeing the moms and helping, and sometimes the kids are there," Carmen Tosi said.
"Many of our families are mothers with small children. It's very hard for them to get out and manage their children and their work and their homelessness status, and so, we deliver the meals to them," said Larry Seamans, president and CEO of FamilyAid.
