A woman is facing a murder charge for allegedly beating her 88-year-old mother-in-law to death in Exeter, N.H. , in February, officials said.
Danielle Kelsen, 55, was arrested in Maine on a charge of second-degree murder in connection with the death of Janet Kelsen, who was found dead in her home on Feb. 9, New Hampshire Attorney General John M. Formella‘s office said in a statement.
Prosecutors allege that Danielle Kelsen “recklessly caused the death of Janet Kelsen under circumstances manifesting an extreme indifference to the value of human life by inflicting blunt head trauma,” prosecutors said.
It wasn’t known if Danielle Kelsen had retained a lawyer who could speak on her behalf.
