VANCOUVER, Wash. — Vancouver police have released video showing a rideshare driver being repeatedly rear-ended by another vehicle that investigators said was being driven by the husband of the passenger, in what police are calling a domestic violence incident.

The attack happened in mid-November, but police are still searching for the man who rammed the rideshare car. Officers said the rideshare driver's quick thinking likely prevented a tragedy.

Police said the incident began at around 5 a.m. on Nov. 15 when the rideshare driver picked up the passenger from their workplace in Vancouver. As they drove away, another vehicle pursued them and struck their car several times.
