GRESHAM, Ore. — A Gresham man who reported that his puppy had been stolen last week is now being investigated for animal abuse, police said Wednesday. The dog was found two days after the incident, but is now being looked after by Multnomah County Animal Services.
Christian Myles reported to police that four people had attacked him while he was walking in downtown Gresham on Nov. 17, stealing his 9-month-old German Shepherd/Rottweiler mix, Shayla, and fleeing in a SUV. At the time, according to police, Myles was "highly intoxicated" and unable to provide the exact location of the alleged robbery.
