Weather forecasters say there’s a possibility that a winter storm system from the Plains could bring a mix of snow, ice and rain to the New Jersey region, eastern Pennsylvania and other parts of the eastern U.S. early next week.

Although it’s far too early for forecasters to get a good handle on the storm and its impacts, they say the blast of cold air that’s invading our region on Thursday and Friday could linger into next week and play a role in wintry weather or mixed precipitation on Tuesday.
