WEIRTON – The Weirton Area Water Board has lifted the boil order for the area of Riverview Drive, effective at 8:40 a.m. today.

The order was issued Tuesday for Riverview Drive, Elwood Lane, and the 3500 block of Brightway, following work on a water line in the area.

Customers in the affected area may resume using water without any restrictions or requirements to boil.
