A man suffered serious facial injuries during a road rage incident in Warwickshire . He reported being attacked near Alcester .

Police said that just after midday on Thursday, November 20, the victim was driving his Audi up Gorcott Hill towards Hockley Heath. He was reportedly cut up by a silver Volkswagen Caddy.

When the VW Caddy driver braked suddenly, the man overtook, only for the van driver to cut back in and slam on the brakes. He is believed to have got out and approached the Audi.

Conflict erupted when the Volkswagen driver reportedly punched the man in the Audi. He was left shaken by the attack and sustained facial injuries.

Police are investigating the incident and have urged anyone with information to call 101. Information can also be provided anonymously through Crimest
