Popular winter bash has booths open for promotions

The city of Surprise invited local businesses, outreach organizations and promotional vendors to participate in next month’s annual Surprise Party holiday event.

The event, which is expected to draw thousands of residents and visitors from across the community, is scheduled for 5 to 9 p.m. Friday, Dec. 5 and Saturday, Dec. 6 at the Surprise Recreation Campus, 15960 N. Bullard Ave.

Surprise Party is one of the city’s largest and most popular community events, as attendees will take part in holiday-themed festivities, including a tree-lighting ceremony, roaming entertainment, food trucks, a festive roller rink, a kids zone and visits with Santa Claus.
