A prolific shoplifter who 'tormented staff' with this 'relentless offending' has been jailed.

Haribo thief Aaron Kelly had been banned from a number of stores in November last year.

But he repeatedly flouted the Criminal Behaviour Order (CBO) and continued to snatch sweets, chocolate and other items from shelves.

The court order banned the 36-year-old from stores across the south of Nottingham and West Bridgford - but it didn't stop him raiding a number of shops in October and November this year.

Nottinghamshire Police arrested Kelly, of Eddleston drive, Nottingham, who later pleaded guilty to 16 counts of shoplifting.
