GRAYSON COUNTY, Va. (WDBJ) - Two people were trapped, injured and taken to the hospital after a vehicle in Grayson County ran into an outbuilding around 3:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 27, 2025.

The Independence Volunteer Fire Department (IVFD) responded to a report of an auto collision at a residence near the intersection of New River Pkwy. and Circle Pond Ln.

Crews realized two people were trapped and it took 12 minutes to get them out, according to the IVFD

Both people were transported to a hospital and are expected to be okay, said first responders.
