BENNINGTON — The annual Thanksgiving feast at Harvest House welcomed both family and strangers into the fold over roasted turkey, stuffing, pie, and love for one another.
“This is a family,” said Princess, who sat beaming, surrounded by others enjoying food and conversation. “We come here, and gather six days a week to eat, love, check in on each other, it’s a real family. This place is built for community. God bless Pastor Aaron. He feeds the neighborhood and keeps us together. Whenever there’s a need, this place is here for all of us. He comes running. I think he’s placed here by God. This is what Bennington is at heart.”
