ALLEGAN COUNTY, Mich — Deputies said multiple vehicles were involved in a head-on crash in Allegan County on Thursday evening.

Around 6:30 p.m., deputies from the Allegan County Sheriff's Office (ACSO) responded to a report of a head-on crash with several vehicles involved on Lincoln Road M-40 Highway North near 127th Avenue in Health Township.

ACSO said as of 6:45 p.m., deputies and first responders were on the scene helping those who were injured in the crash. According to officials, people were being taken to local hospitals for their injuries.

ACSO has asked the public to avoid Lincoln Road M-40 Highway North between 128th Avenue and 127th Avenue while the crash is under investigation.
