Police are appealing for information after they say a police car was deliberately hit by another vehicle . A Gwent Police statement said a white van deliberately reversed into a police car on the A469 southbound between the roundabout for Morrisons and Aberbargoed Fire station at around 2.30pm on Monday, November 24.

The force said the van deliberately reversed into the police car on the A-road, causing significant damage to the vehicle. Officers from Gwent Police are looking to speak to speak to drivers who were in the area near the time of the collision.
