Osborn Pleads No Contest in LA Fentanyl Deaths; Co-Defendant Serving Life Term
Brandt Osborn, 46, pleaded no contest to two counts of accessory after the fact and received a sentence of two years of formal probation and 480 hours of community service, according to the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office. The plea follows a mistrial earlier this year, when jurors were unable to reach a unanimous verdict on the same charges.
Prosecutors said Osborn was present when co-defendant David Pearce transported the bodies of 24-year-old model Christy Giles and 26-year-old architect Hilda Marcela Cabrales-Arzola to two different hospitals in November 2021.
