Dog bite, Clearview Drive: On Nov. 7, police were dispatched to a Clearview Drive home regarding a dog-bite report.

An arriving officer talked to the homeowner, who admitted their pit bull bulldog mix bit a juvenile male who was playing in the home.

The juvenile received medical treatment for his injuries.

The dog was removed from the home.

Animal Control is following up.

Falsification, Mandalay Drive: On Nov. 11, police were dispatched to a Mandalay Drive home regarding an assault.

An arriving officer talked to the caller, who reported being slapped in the face by a family member.

However, the investigation revealed the victim made a false statement to have another person removed from the home.

The investigation is continuing with potential charges to follow
