The Rams hosted the Vikings in a D2 Aurora conference matchup Tuesday night at the Big Dipper. Tri-Valley and Monroe were the only Interior teams with games this week. The game was close with the score of 0-1 after the first period, and 0-2 with 6 minutes remaining in the second.
Despite a short bench, Tri-Valley was keeping the Rams from adding to the scoreboard with a great defensive effort and outstanding goal tending by Christopher Bohanan who turned away several grade A chances for Monroe. However, the Rams flipped the switch and in a 3-minute span the Rams put up four goals to end the second period, 0-6. Monroe’s Kaden Thompson was responsible for two goals in the second, including a snipe off the faceoff that found the back of the net.
The third provided opportunities for the Rams
