COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Kellen Wymer never dreamed he’d be a Buckeye.

The four-star 2027 offensive lineman is from Liberty Center, a small town in northwest Ohio near the Michigan border that doesn’t produce many Big Ten football players.

But Wymer, a blue-chip prospect who is ranked the No. 211 overall player in the 247Sports composite rankings, breaks the mold.

He’s big, athletic and versatile. He’s everything that new offensive line coach Tyler Bowen is looking for in a high school recruit. He’s the in-state prospect the Buckeyes crave.

And he grew up a Michigan fan.
