WATERBURY, Conn. (WFSB) - Police arrested two men and seized drugs with an estimated street value of $41,000 during a multi-unit operation Tuesday.
Authorities executed multiple search and seizure warrants for 127 Central Avenue, a 2014 Honda Accord and Winston Spence, 36, of Waterbury.
At approximately 6:45 a.m., officers observed Winston Spence operating his Honda Accord in the area of 64 Bishop Street.
After Spence exited the vehicle, officers attempted to make contact with him.
Spence fled on foot to the rear of the building but was apprehended without incident, police said.
During the investigation, police seized 7,408 bags of heroin, 72.6 grams of crack cocaine and $6,092 in U.S. currency.
