The South Carolina Department of Transportation (SCDOT) has announced that it plans to close the I-126 West off-ramp to Colonial Life Blvd. beginning Dec. 1 at 6 a.m. The ramp is scheduled to reopen at 10 p.m. on Dec. 20, but these dates may change depending on weather conditions.
During the closure, drivers will be detoured to Greystone Blvd. and directed to Broad River Rd., then Bush River Rd. to access Colonial Life Blvd. Message boards, lane closures, and detour signs will be placed along the route to guide motorists. A map of the planned detour can also be found above.
