Jeff Bidwell named executive editor of The Southern

Jeff Bidwell, who spent nearly 20 years as sports director at WPSD, will return as executive editor over WPSD Local 6 and the Paxton Media Group West Kentucky Division newspapers, including The Southern Illinoisan, at the beginning of 2026.
