If Lane Kiffin left Ole Miss on Saturday for an opportunity at a different school (LSU), who would lead Kiffin's former team to the College Football Playoff field?

According to ESPN's Mark Schlabach, former New York Giants coach Joe Judge would "likely" step into an interim role and coach his first Ole Miss game in the College Football Playoff.

LANE KIFFIN: When will Ole Miss coach announce his decision? What we know

Judge is a longtime New England Patriots assistant and Bill Belichick acolyte who has worked with Ole Miss since 2024. He currently works as the quarterbacks coach in Oxford.

As Kiffin prepares to make his decision, Judge would reportedly step in to coach Ole Miss through the rest of the season. Ole Miss most likely wouldn't let Kiffin stay if he left for a team like LSU.
