ANN ARBOR — “I’ve thought, as you can imagine over the years, after winning this game what I’d say in this press conference,” Ohio State coach Ryan Day said Saturday after his team beat Michigan 27-9.

Day entered the game with an 81-10 overall record as Ohio State’s head coach. He beat Michigan his first season on the job, in 2019, but not in the four games since. The drought for the Buckeyes in one of the biggest rivalries in sports had reached 2,191 days. It gave Day plenty of time to think about how he’d handle a win in The Game. But…
