David Carrick, an armed police officer, was first brought to justice as one of the country's most prolific sex offenders in February 2023.
Standing in the dock at London’s Old Bailey, he pleaded guilty to 43 of 44 charges and was jailed for 30 years. Last week, a jury found him guilty of sexually abusing a 12-year-old girl and another woman. He was handed another life sentence.
