HASTINGS, Neb. (KSNB) - Good evening! Well the snow and freezing rain are done for now, but still some strong winds expected through the evening. Temperatures today stayed cool in the 20’s as much of the area had some snow cover on the ground with about 1 to 3 inches across the Tri-Cities and western portions of Nebraska. Like we anticipated much of the heavier snow amounts stayed across eastern Nebraska into Iowa. There was also a light glaze of ice across many surfaces this morning after some freezing rain came ahead of the snow. Temperatures are likely going to stay cold into Monday with some overnight lows in the single digits to teens. Wind chills tomorrow morning could drop below zero for many, but lighter winds Monday morning will likely keep wind chills above zero. Mostly cloudy sk
Stay cold the next couple of days with some below zero wind chills tomorrow morning; Snow showers possible tomorrow night into Monday
