HARVEY, La. — Jefferson Parish deputies are investigating a deadly shooting in Harvey Saturday evening.

Around 7:30 p.m., deputies were called to the 4200 block of Lac St. Pierre Drive, where they found a man lying in a field with at least one gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene, a release said.

The victim’s name is not being released while family members are notified.
