Snow was thought to be heading for the West Midlands next week, with up to 5cm predicted for the region.
However the latest weather maps now show there has been a dramatic change.
WXCharts had suggested snow would settle by 6am on Friday, December 5.
The prediction, based on MetDesk data, predicted a total of 16 counties would see flurries.

Snow was expected to fall in Staffordshire , West Midlands, Worcestershire , Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire and Lincolnshire, the Mirror reports.
Cumbria, Northumberland, Durham, Lancashire, Anglesey, Conwy, Gwynedd, Ceredigion, Powys and Carmarthenshire were also expected to see snowfall, as will the Scottish borders and a wide of area of the Hi
