PERRY, Ga. — A crash in Perry on Saturday caused lanes of I-75 north and south to be closed for two hours, and resulted in drivers and passengers being hospitalized.
Georgia State Patrol (GSP) said that the crash happened on I-75 north near mile marker 139.
They said that a Toyota Tacoma was in the middle lane, and a Jeep Grand Cherokee was in the left lane.
The Toyota "failed to maintain its lane" and drove into the left lane, hitting the Jeep, according to GSP.
They said that both vehicles went off the roadway and hit a guardrail before overturning.
The Toyota ended up in the median, and the Jeep was on its side on the left shoulder of I-75 south, GSP said.
