On Sunday at 1:14 p.m. the National Weather Service released a winter storm watch valid from Tuesday 7 a.m. until Wednesday 1 a.m. for Northern Worcester and Southern Worcester as well as Franklin, Middlesex, Essex, Hampshire and Hampden counties.
The weather service describes, “Heavy snow possible Central & Western Massachusetts for snow accumulations greater than 6 inches.”
“Travel could be very difficult. The hazardous conditions could impact the Tuesday morning and evening commutes,” explains the weather service. “Monitor the latest forecasts for updates on this situation.”
