WEST MICHIGAN - Another snow system is forecast to move into Michigan on Monday and into Tuesday, and it could bring several more inches of snow to a three-county area along the Lakeshore.
This will be lake-effect snow, being blown in across the Lake Michigan shoreline. The National Weather Service in Grand Rapids says this lake effect band could develop Monday afternoon into Tuesday morning.
Some areas of West Michigan could see 4 inches of snow or more during this timeframe. The counties with the best chances of seeing the highest snowfall include Ottawa, Muskegon and Oceana counties.
If this lake effect band of snow ends up sitting over a specific area, the snow totals could push past 4 inches.
This snow action means there could be lower visibilities on roads, and slick travel condi
