CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) - The driver of a scooter was killed in a two-vehicle crash in southwest Charlotte early Friday morning.

The crash was first reported to Charlotte-Mecklenburg police around 12:12 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 28, on Nations Ford Road, close to Echodale Drive.

Two vehicles were involved – an electric scooter driven by Timothy Medina and a Dodge Challenger with two people inside, according to police.

Medina died from his injuries at the scene of the crash.

Details of what led to the crash were limited, but no arrests were made.
