NEW HAVEN, Conn. (WFSB) - Police are investigating after a stolen car crashed in New Haven on Sunday evening.

Police said the crash happened on Whalley Avenue.

However, officials said the driver and any occupants had fled before police arrived.

According to police, several utility lines came down as a result of the crash.

However, United Illuminating did not show any outages in the area as of 10:30 p.m.
