Fire crews have been called to the BBC offices in Glasgow this morning after black smoke was seen pouring from the roof.

Emergency services are understood to be at the scene of the office building on Pacific Quay . It is believed that the fire was reported at around 6.30am on Monday, December 1.

Footage from the scene shows a fire on the top floor of the building. The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service has confirmed it is at the scene.

It is currently unclear whether anyone was inside the building at the time of the fire.
