An Edinburgh-bound flight was forced to divert on Sunday evening. The easyJet plane left Prague at around 9.25pm on November 30, heading for the capital.
Flight EZY3326 diverted to Glasgow , with the airline sourcing taxis for passengers 'where possible'. Other customers had to source their own travel back to Edinburgh, with easyJet confirming they will be reimbursed.
The diversion was due to the closure of the runway at Edinburgh Airport. The airline said that while it was 'outside of their control'. they apologise for the inconvenience.
An easyJet spokesperson told Edinburgh Live: "Due to the closure of the runway at Edinburgh airport last night which caused disruption to airline flying programmes, flight EZY3326 from Prague to Edinburgh was required to divert to Glasgow.
