Fire crews in Edinburgh were called to the city centre after a blaze broke out in a Princes Street building. The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) dispatched four appliances and a height appliance to the scene at around 3.25pm on Friday, November 28.
They received reports of a building fire on the ground floor of a three-storey building. Locals were 'concerned' after spotting fire engines.
The SFRS extinguished the 'small fire' after ensuring the area was safe. They confirmed no casualties were reported.
A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: "We were alerted at 3.25pm on Friday, 28 November, to reports of a building fire at Princes Street, Edinburgh.
