CARMEL – Don Wildman, known for hosting the Travel Channel’s ‘Mysteries at the Museum,’ paid a visit to the Putnam County Historian’s Office to discuss the county’s plans for the upcoming 250th anniversary celebration with Historian Jennifer Cassidy.
The United States will commemorate the anniversary with a multi-year initiative known as America250 which aims to engage all Americans in honoring the nation’s history and envisioning its future.
The celebration will culminate on July 4, 2026 with various activities planned throughout the Hudson Valley including service projects, educational programs and cultural events.
Joining Wildman and Cassidy was Paul Savage of Cold Spring who discussed opportunities to expand student and school engagement, and his role as co-chair of National History
