SHREVEPORT, La. - Southern University at Shreveport (SUSLA) is closing its MLK campus on Monday. The closure is due to low water pressure across the MLK campus. This makes it impossible to maintain essential services on site, according to a university statement.

As a result, all on-campus classes and activities are canceled. The only exception is Dental Hygiene classes, which will still meet.

Faculty and staff are required to work remotely. However, essential workers must still report to the campus.
