According to police in South Australia, emergency services were called to Tank Cave, located near the rural town of Tantanoola off Princes Highway, at around 10:30 a.m. local time on Sunday, Nov. 30, after receiving reports that a cave diver was in danger.

Authorities quickly discovered that a diver who had been reported missing, a 65-year-old man from Victoria, Australia, had drowned. His identity has not been made public.
