A man accused of knife attacks on a train in Cambridgeshire and other separate attacks earlier that day, and the day before, faces a trial next year.
This follows a court hearing that took place today (December 1) in his absence. Anthony Williams, 32, is charged with 10 counts of attempted murder after numerous people were stabbed on an LNER train from Doncaster to London November 1.
Eleven passengers received treatment in hospital following the attack however there were no casualties. Police at the time said it did not appear to be an act of "terrorism".
Williams was due to appear via video link at Cambridge Crown Court to enter pleas. However the court heard Williams had refused to join 'the link room'.
