A police probe is underway after a fight broke out between fans at the Manchester City v Leeds match.
The brawl broke out inside the Etihad Stadium during the game on Saturday (November 29) with Greater Manchester Police confirming today that five people were arrested. Several Manchester City fans posted on X, formerly Twitter , to claim that City fans had been 'battered' by 'Leeds fans in the home end of the stadium'.
But an official City club account said that the incident 'did not involve Leeds fans'. They said the injuries in the incident 'were nowhere near as serious' as the 'rumours' that had been circulating on social media, one of which alleged a fan had broken their leg.
